Graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and other trainees may be eligible for one of MCW's competitive T32 training programs funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Our MD/PhD Program was established in 1983 and our mission is to support medical and research training culminating in the receipt of both an MD and a PhD degree while assisting to reduce the cost associated with your training experience.

Summer Program for Undergraduate Research

Participation in SPUR is intended for students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university who intend to pursue scientific-based graduate studies.

Program for Undergraduate Research Experience

The Program for Undergraduate Research (PURE) offered through the MCW Graduate School is a non-paid, internship-based program for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college/university.

Children's Wisconsin

Children's Wisconsin job shadows allow students to observe the responsibilities of a physician, credentialed AHP, or other employee. Shadows are clinical in nature, but may include aspects of research.

Froedtert Health

Froedtert Health's Job Shadow program allows students of 16 years of age or older to observe patient care in clinical or non-clinical areas at a Froedtert Health system location.
