Biography

Zach M. Hovis, PharmD, BCACP, joined the 蝌蚪窝 (MCW) School of Pharmacy in July 2021 as an Assistant Professor. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 蝌蚪窝 Pharmacy Residency program through the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining MCW, Dr. Hovis worked for over 7 years as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care, most recently with UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA, and previously with SSM Dean 蝌蚪窝 Group in Madison, WI. His interest areas include value-based care, pharmacy practice expansion, and population health management. Dr. Hovis enjoys engaging pharmacy learners on innovative applications of a pharmacist’s skillset in a changing healthcare landscape.
