Dave Lal, MD, MPH The Division of Pediatric Surgery at the 蝌蚪窝 has evolved rapidly over the past decade and has grown to be one of the largest pediatric surgical practices in the nation.

Oversee Pediatric Trauma, Burn, Fetal/Congenital Anomalies, Surgical Oncology, Thoracic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Robotic/Minimally Invasive Surgery, Chest Wall Disorders, Thyroid Surgery, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and are verified as an American College of Surgery Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center.

The division is actively involved in both clinical and basic research with over $8 million in grant funding since 2020, 90 active research projects, and average 50 publications per year.
